Homone Engineering has provided structural design services for a diverse range of new construction projects throughout New York and the surrounding region. Our work includes residential and mixed-use developments ranging from two to twelve stories, with structural systems that incorporate reinforced concrete, structural steel, masonry, and precast floor systems. Foundation designs have included spread footings, concrete mats, piers, and other specialized systems developed to address site constraints and adjacent structures. In addition to new construction, our office has extensive experience with renovation and adaptive reuse of existing buildings. Projects have included building extensions, structural modifications for elevators and convenience stairs, reinforcement of existing floor systems, and major interior reconfigurations requiring temporary shoring and new structural framing.
